Dab Ten’Ten’s Sunday comics 1/7/2018

The latest of my Sunday comics offering in #NuRomantics

not mine but still funny

so I was doing book promos for fellow authors and a few needed to do last minute changes to the url or just add them last minute so i put this together to show how to do it without worrying if they can get to it before it posts

This is a way to get a url to use when you haven’t released your book yet but want to have your blog promo out and ready to go.

One go to smart url https://manage.smarturl.it/ and create an account it takes an email and password then a reply to there email.

Then go and log in.

then you click on create url

you will come to this page

Click country. (mostly I don’t know what the others do)

Then go to your default. (I used my amazon author page)

Copy the url from  the page you chose

and put it in default box.

Then scroll down.

I tend to make it something to do with the book(if it goes through this will be your url)

then click save.smart8

Now you have an url to put in to your pages you send for blog and wouldn’t need to have someone add it later.

When you get the book url. (presale or it goes live)

Go back to smarturl.it and log in.

Click on the link for the book url you made before.

smart 10

Copy your book link. (I use us because that’s where I am at)

Paste it both places.

smart 12.5

Click the background.

smart 11

I know this works for amazon now what ever country their in it will go to that amazon.

Then click save and your done.

smart 13

Now the url in the blog will take them to the right amazon page for them.

it also keeps track of where and how many clicks the url receives.

this is meant to help if you find it confusing or errors please let me know

as always thanks for reading

My daughters read creapypasta.com stories and tell me about it.

My wife likes the jump scare games on her phone and tells me about it.

This is what my mind did with this information.

With creepypasta.com closed to new submissions Ben Drowned was bored. He came up with the idea of making animatronics.

As he was working, Slender man also bored from inactivity helped assembling them.

Ben received an email requesting more information.

After emails back and forth, they sent Ben the costumes that they wanted put on the animatronics and how they wanted them to act. They packed them up and shipped them out.

Because few if any people know it

From Wikipedia

Defenestration is the act of throwing someone or something out of a window.[1]

The term was coined around the time of an incident in Prague Castle in the year 1618. The word comes from the Latin de- (out of or away from) and fenestra (window or opening).[2] Likewise, it can also refer to the condition of being thrown out of a window, as in “The Defenestration of Ermintrude Inch“.[3]

While the act of defenestration connotes the forcible or peremptory removal of an adversary, and the term is sometimes used in just that sense,[4] it also suggests breaking the windows in the process (de- also means removal). Although defenestrations can be fatal depending on the height of the window through which a person is thrown or throws oneself or due to lacerations from broken glass, the act of defenestration need not carry the intent of, or result in, death.

I came across this word years ago and have yet to use it in a story even tho I really want to.

tell me some of the words or phrases you want to use and have not found the right situation

as always thanks for reading

So I was busy this week and almost missed a post this week

I was thinking about grammar this week

more specifically gender neutral pronouns

so I worked out something in my head

Male    female     neutral     pronounced

his       hers           h’                hæ

he         she           ‘h’               hɛ

it would work for me but I don’t know how to get

everyone else to follow along

I know this is a short one but some times the best thoughts are
